The mission of SE Engineers is to design tomorrow's state-of-the-art mechanical systems today. The design approach that we use is intended to assure that projects meet and exceed the requirements and expectations of our clients. We work with our clients to identify different options to reduce energy consumption in order to preserve resources for the future and reduce environment pollution. Our broad portfolio of successful projects and accomplishments speaks for itself.
We bring to the table:
Bill was raised in Missoula, Montana. After graduating from Hellgate High School, he was accepted into the highly competitive Architectural Engineering (AE) program at the Pennsylvania State University (Penn State). In 1999 Bill earned his Bachelor of Architectural Engineering (BAE) degree with the mechanical option from the top-ranked AE program of Penn State. Soon after graduating Bill moved to San Diego to work for a mechanical engineering firm. One of his biggest projects completed with this firm was the design of the mechanical systems for all the concessions and commisary kitchens at the Padres' Petco Field. After two years in San Diego, Bill realized that he wanted to raise his two boys as he had been raised - in Montana. Bill moved back to Missoula and worked for an architectural and engineering firm for more than 12 years, moving to Bozeman during that tenure. The multitude of projects he worked on during that time include hospitals, places of worship, multi-use and commercial buildings, restaurants and breweries, education facilities (K-12 and universities), as well as high-end residences. In 2003 Bill earned his Professional Engineer (P.E.) license, and is currently licensed in Montana, Wyoming, Idaho and Utah. In February 2013, Bill and his wife Alexis founded SE Engineers. In working with you we look forward to many years of success.
Alexis was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. After attending a large university in Florida for a few years, she decided that she wanted to be an engineer. This brought her back to Atlanta to attend Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech). In 2004, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) from one of the top electrical engineering programs in the country. Following graduation, Alexis moved to southern California to work as a field engineer for a biomedical company. The company manufactures implantable neurostimulation devices delivering current to nerves within the body. This experience allowed her to travel extensively around the US, as well as to other countries. After nearly five years, Alexis decided that she wanted to return to school. In October 2010, she began research at Montana State University (MSU) involving nuclear magnetic resonance techniques to study biofilm development in soil and modeled-soil environments, iron-tagged bacteria as well as non-Newtonian fluids. In June 2013, Alexis defended her thesis and earned a Master of Engineering degree. Alexis then began working with Bill full time to help develop and grow their company.
