Heating and air conditioning systems can range from simple furnaces, as seen in a typical spec home, to cutting edge geothermal heat pumps that utilize the earth as a heat source and sink.  The system shown is a high efficiency condensing boiler system incoporating zone pumping that serves a radiant floor system or multiple terminal units.

Traditionally plumbing design includes calculations, equipment and pipe sizing, as well as document preparation.  It may seem like a uninspired process, but often times plumbing fixtures can define a space.
